Today, through Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, the Australian government revealed Australia's intention to increase commercial flights from the United Kingdom, India and South Africa and support quarantine places, so that more Australians who were stranded abroad due to the epidemic can return to their country, according to what it said. The Australian Prime Minister added that the Australian "Qantas" airline will offer 8 flights, during the coming weeks, from London, New Delhi and Johannesburg, and Australia's ability to allow citizens and permanent residents to return to the country is restricted, while all returning travelers must undergo a 14-day quarantine in hotels.

It is worth noting that the government announced earlier, the creation of 5,000 additional quarantine places available during the next six months, according to an agreement with the Northern Territory government to open a facility near Darwin.

It is reported that there are more than 29,000 Australians currently registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade who wish to return to their country.
