Australian authorities have announced a five-day general isolation measure for Melbourne to contain the coronavirus in the country's second most populous city, preventing the public from attending most of the Australian Open tennis tournament, according to Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews, who said the tournament is subject to public isolation and there will be no crowds or crowds.

He added that the isolation measures, which began in mid-yesterday, include a ban on public gatherings, weddings and religious gatherings.

Australia has been one of the most successful countries in the world in responding to the pandemic, largely due to decisive isolation and border closures. The country recorded about 22,200 injuries and 909 deaths.
