His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister chaired the regular meeting held by the Council this morning at its headquarters in the Emiri Diwan.

After the meeting, His Excellency Dr. / Isa bin Saad Al-Jafali Al-Nuaimi, Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, made the following:

The Council considered the topics on the agenda as follows:
First- Approval of a draft law on endowment.

Preparation of the draft law to replace Law No. (8) for the year 1996 regarding the endowment comes in the context of updating legislation to keep pace with developments in this regard.

The project includes provisions related to the establishment of the endowment, its banks and conditions, the civil endowment, and the spectacle of the endowment, its maintenance, architecture and investment.

Second - Approving a proposal to amend some provisions of the Labor Law and the Law regulating entry and exit of expatriates and their residence, according to the recommendations of the working group formed to study that proposal.

Third - Approving the proposal of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority to renew the membership of the Chairman and members of the Grievance Committee of the Authority.

This committee established by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority chaired by one of the presidents of the Appeals Court and the membership of two Appeals Court judges and two experts in the field of securities dealings, deals with grievances regarding penal decisions issued by the Authority.

Fourth - Taking the necessary measures to ratify:

1- An agreement on industrial and technological cooperation between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Turkish Republic.
2- An agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Russian Federation regarding the mutual exemption of entry visa requirements for citizens of the State of Qatar and citizens of the Russian Federation.

Fifth: The Cabinet reviewed the following issues and took appropriate decisions:
1- The results of the fifth session of the Qatar-Pakistan Joint Ministerial Committee on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation (Doha, November 2019).

2- Report on the organization of the exhibition of the State of Qatar, which was held on the sidelines of the 39th session of the Committee on Copyright and Related Rights at the headquarters of the Secretariat of the World Intellectual Property Organization (Geneva, October 2019).

3- The results of the Eighth Islamic Conference of Environment Ministers
