The Traffic Department in the State of Bahrain is seeking to facilitate Saudi women who wish to obtain a driver’s license, especially after the recent decision from Saudi Arabia to allow women to drive a car.

Due to the high demand for the sole school for women to drive in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia, and the difficulty in registering in it sometimes, many Saudi women resorted to traveling to nearby Bahrain to enroll in driving schools in them, but some of them were hindering the condition of registering their address in Bahrain, which led to Some of them took advantage of the matter by registering the intern's residence site on their site, which prompted the Bahrain Traffic Department to find a solution to this problem.

Ibrahim Al Asfour, President of the Bahrain Driving Instructors Association, issued a statement confirming that the General Traffic Department in Bahrain has abolished the requirement to obtain a residence address for Saudi women wishing to train in leadership schools in Bahrain, to prevent manipulation and exploitation by some Saudis residing in Bahrain, and some Bahraini citizens And also brokers and intermediaries who require amounts of up to 1500 riyals to add Saudi Arabia to their residential address in Bahrain, where it is now possible to review the traffic to obtain a driving trainee card.
