The general index of the Muscat Securities Market closed Tuesday's trading session, down by 0.2%, at the level of 3493.16 points, losing 6.92 points.
At the sector level, the financial sector index decreased by 0.75%, the services sector index increased by 0.47%, and the industrial sector index increased 0.18%.
Al-Ahli Bank shares topped the declines by 4%, and Muscat Finance fell by 3.7%.
While the shares of Oman and the UAE topped the gains by 6.98%, the shares of Phoenix Energy rose by 3.77%, and the shares of Al Batinah Energy rose by 1.75%, and the share of Omani Mills increased by 3.64%.
The volume of trading today increased to 6.95 million shares, compared to 3.51 million in the previous session, and the value of trades increased to 1.411 million riyals, compared to 691.66 thousand riyals in a meeting yesterday, Monday.
The National Bank issued the most active shares today, trading 2.5 million shares, while Omani Mills issued the activity with a value of about 480.81 thousand riyals.
The volume of trades increased to 6.95 million shares, and the turnover increased to 1.411 million riyals.
