The media office of the Sharjah government revealed this evening that the civil defense teams of the emirate are currently working to control a fire that broke out in a residential tower in Al Nahda.
In a related context, he added that the civil defense teams are keen to evacuate the residential tower and ensure the safety of the residents, pointing out that the fire resulted, until the moment, seven minor injuries, and was transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
In this regard, the General Administration of Civil Defense in Sharjah confirmed that a fire was reported in one of the residential towers in the Al Nahda area of the Central Operations Room at 9:04 pm today, the report was responded to, and the residents were evacuated from the tower to control the fire, and the fire is being extinguished and dealt with By the competent teams.
On the one hand, the Civil Defense reported that it used drones to inspect the damaged floors during the start of the firefighting operations.
On the other hand, eyewitnesses told residents of the "Alco" tower that the fire broke out on the lower floors of the tower, specifically the first floor, which rises to the price of floors designated for parking lots before the fire extends quickly to the top of the tower.
