A number of newspapers have confirmed that this decision on passports from the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority is due to the recent agreement signed between Saudi Arabia and the United States, which states that expired passports between the two countries will be considered valid for a period of 6 months from the date of the expiration date.

The authority also stressed that since the hours of today, all airlines and tourism companies have been confirmed regarding this new decision, and it is scheduled to be implemented starting from today in all airlines.

Special passports for Saudis and Americans "American visa" in the Kingdom

It is worth noting that earlier the spokesman for the American embassy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced earlier that the rate of issuing visas "American visa" for Saudi citizens is about % 90, and that all applicants are approved.
