The UAE Cabinet has made new amendments to the fees for expatriates in the UAE under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
In a related context, the UAE Cabinet has issued a set of modern decisions in order to establish a competitive business environment in the Emirates, including the abolition of the mandatory bank guarantee, in order to recruit expatriate labor in the UAE and replace that with a low-cost health insurance system that includes about fourteen billion dirhams of guarantees Banking for the UAE business sector.
Details of the low fees for arrivals in the new emirates
In this regard, the new system allows all companies and institutions to recover about fourteen billion dirhams, representing about the value of the current guarantees paid by employers in the Emirates.
Thus, all employers in the UAE, institutions and companies will be able to invest that amount in an optimal way in developing the business sector in the Emirates and to coexist effectively with expatriates in the Emirates.
On the one hand, the UAE Cabinet has adopted new procedures related to the stays of visitors and residents on the UAE territory for a short period, as the Council of Ministers has adopted a new system that grants temporary residency without paying any fees for a period of stay of about six months.
The UAE Cabinet was also given a great opportunity up to six months, also, to legalize the situation of all illegal migrant workers in the UAE.
The UAE Cabinet also adopted a new resolution to exempt transit tourists from all fees for the first forty-eight hours.
Likewise, on the other side, the UAE Cabinet approved a new set of modern legislative facilities, which includes legislation to review the current residency system in order to extend the residence period for all sponsored children and girls in the UAE, after completing their university studies for a period of two years, which It will directly facilitate all students and all their relatives to give them a great opportunity for future study in the Emirates.
UAE announces 10% increase in salaries of expatriates and residents in 2020
The UAE has decided to increase the salaries of workers in the UAE so that the salaries of these expatriates may reach 40 thousand dirhams for employees, the private sector and expatriates in 2020.
Where His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has ordered an increase in the salaries of workers in the UAE from citizens employees in the government of Sharjah to all categories and cadres, both for higher grades and others, at a financial cost of 600 million dirhams.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim, member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, Head of the Human Resources Department, valued the wise directives announced by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
