In a related context, the recommendations included, the government submitting a traffic bill for the current year 2020 to the National Assembly to keep pace with the current developments and to organize the violations effectively, and to take into account the gradual punishment, to achieve deterrence, and to regulate the articles related to bicycles, in terms of their definition and organization of their walking.
In this regard, the recommendations indicated the formation of a joint committee between the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Municipalities, to develop solutions to the problem of traffic jams.
On the one hand, he called for a review of the conditions for granting driving licenses to residents and expatriates in Kuwait, in order to urge them to use public transport or mass transport, taking into account all the requirements for granting licenses.
