The UAE Cabinet agreed, on Monday, to create a multi-entry tourist visa for a period of 5 years for all nationalities, with the aim of supporting tourism systems and emphasizing the UAE's position as a global tourist destination for all, according to a statement quoted by the official Emirates News Agency.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President of the Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, presided over the first meeting of the Council of Ministers in 2020, according to what he published in a tweet through his official account on Twitter, affirming through it that "2020 will be a different year."
In another tweet, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said: "We adopted today the change of the tourist visa system in the country, so that the duration of the tourist visa is five years, multi-use, for all nationalities."
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid added that the UAE receives more than 21 million tourists every year, and they aim to establish the country as a major global tourism destination.
Tourist visas in the UAE vary in terms of length of stay and number of entry times, according to what is written on the official website of the government of the United Arab Emirates.
