The Transport Authority has announced the start of intensive monitoring trips to monitor companies operating in the activity of violating taxi guidance applications employing foreigners, vowing to stop their services.
Majed Al-Zahrani, Director General of Small Vehicle Transport in the authority, said that the tours are taken in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, and intensively, with a penalty of stopping services from companies and a fine of 5 thousand riyals for each expatriate that allowed him to work for them.
He added that the penalties also include the application of violations of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, calling on users of the applications to redirect vehicles to report if the driver is not Saudi, starting from the beginning of January. It is reported that this stage is the second, and the first was the settlement of private cars, and the third phase will include public taxis.
